UPDATE - I arrived home in Sydney on the 18th of February, 40 days ago today. Started university, and was surprisingly able to do quite a bit considering I have very close to no money. The place where I was working before I went travelling hasn't had this many staff, ever, so my 'standby' status doesn't really mean anything, and finding work is such an effort when you're a fusspot like me.
Other than that, life is jolly and good and well and I'm finally settling back in (the first few weeks left me a little rattled).
ANWAY, again, this is how it's going to go, I give up trying to backtrack and make this blog/travel diary/collaboration of word vomit a seamless project, SO I am instead going to look back and write my experiences as a reflection, which they kind of were in the first place..
Basically I think this is just me admitting to myself that I am probably the most hopeless person when it comes to keeping an up-to-date travel diary. Past trips to China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, wherever else, have proved fruitless, and when I have friends like Chelsea and Maddi... Let's just say I hope you're here for my sharp wit and profound insights and not my consistency.
